Meet Mike!

​

Mike is a passionate and enthusiastic adrenaline seeker who has always loved cycling. In 2021, Mike experienced a life-changing MCA stroke that resulted in a complete loss of function on his left side.

​

Through determination, resilience, and countless hours of hard work, Mike began the journey of learning to walk again. His unwavering commitment—fueled by blood, sweat, and tears—led him back to his therapy sessions and beyond.

​

With the support of NDIS funding and guidance from support coordination at Clear Thoughts Coordination, Mike now accesses Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, and daily use equipment to maximize his independence.

​

In 2024, Mike achieved a major milestone: completing a 19.93 km bike ride—his longest ride since his stroke. A true testament to his strength and spirit!

When we first met Jordan, he had stepped away from the world of theatre and felt he had lost his passion for something he once loved.

But with the right support, encouragement, and people around him — just look at him now!

Jordan has not only stepped back into the theatre scene, but he’s absolutely shining. His bravery and determination are truly remarkable, and we couldn’t be prouder of his journey.
